RABIA’S INSIGHTS AND THOUGHT LEADERSHIP

“I’m incredibly honoured (and still a little shocked!) to be named in Australia’s Top 20 Blogs for 2025. Thankyou to the team at Feedspot.

To be recognised in this way—and amongst such inspiring and impactful voices—is something I never expected when I first began sharing my thoughts and experiences. Writing has always been a way for me to reflect, connect, and hopefully spark meaningful conversations. This recognition is a beautiful reminder that words matter.

Thank you to those who read, share, and engage with my work—it means more than you know. And congratulations to the other incredible bloggers on this list. What a privilege to be in your company.

Here’s to continuing the conversation.”

Leaders Ignore Feminine Power and Issues of Diversity At Your Peril

Having just returned from the British Museum global exhibition on Feminine Power and arriving home to dramatic federal election results in Australia, what I am reminded of is the importance of authentically embracing the female and the multi dimensional qualities women bring to management, leadership, decision making and power. Further, the crucial duty of all leaders is to ensure their organisations are truly representative of the communities they serve and to reflect that diversity at every level of decision making and leadership.

What the World is Teaching us about Leadership

When we look around at what is unfolding in our world today – war, natural disasters, humanitarian crisis, economic hardship, inequity and even the elections going on in many countries – we can see many examples of good leadership and poor leadership. It is timely that we ask ourselves what kind of leaders are we, and what kind of leaders do we aspire to be?

IWD22 Announcement and Challenges for Leaders Everywhere

In the week of International Women’s Day 2022, Rabia announces something global that she is involved with that will hopefully spark widespread conversations and interest. She also challenges leaders everywhere to do one thing to challenge and break a bias that is preventing full commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.

3 Questions For Great Self Leadership

Great leadership starts with being a committed self leader, and self leadership requires awareness, humility and an openness to learn from others. Rabia encourages all leaders to ask themselves three important questions.

Are you brave enough?

“Woman is the companion of man, gifted with equal mental capacity…If by strength is meant moral power, then woman is immeasurably man’s superior…If non-violence is the law of our being, the future...

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

With Rabia, what you see is what you get. I’ve experienced Rabia as a keynote speaker, a panel member on the ABC current affairs program, The Drum, and 1-1 as a colleague, friend and writing mentor. What I value is that, whether she’s being a public figure with larger audiences or just with me, the same essential, simply genuine Rabia shows up: deeply present and engaged in whatever conversation she’s a part of. This encourages me to do the same. I am blessed by the warmth, clarity, courage and compassion of her presence and voice.
